Margaret Seidler, MPA, is an Organization Development (OD) Consultant and Master Trainer. Her practice involves organization assessments, work culture advancement, leadership development, team building, conflict resolution and work relationship training. Margaret has extensive experience as a Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award Examiner through service in South Carolina, Georgia and Minnesota.
She has published numerous articles for The Post & Courier Business Review; Charleston Metro Chamber's Business @dvocate; Commerce Magazine; OD Practicing On-line; APPA People to People Magazine; and was featured for her work in coaching in Toastmasters International magazine.
She has presented nationally at the 2003 Association for Quality & Participation, 2003-2008 American Public Power Association (APPA) conferences; Polarity Management/Real Time Strategic Change conferences; the 2005 National OD Network Conference; and the 2006 inaugural session of the Houston OD Network Learning Community.
Her broad education includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of South Carolina plus graduate course work in OD at the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis. Margaret is part of a small, on-going Learning Community comprised of OD consultants from across the US, Canada, Mexico, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
She is currently working on her first book, Power Surge: Building and Balancing your Leadership Strengths through Polarity Management™ . The book will be published by Human Resource Development Press of Amherst, Massachusetts in 2008. It is designed to help leaders tap the power of the "and."
